This language pack is designed to give both the holiday-maker and the business person the opportunity to hear and practise Greek before going abroad. There are over 250 essential phrases, including street-wise tips. The phrases are given twice, the first time slowly and clearly by a native speaker, so that the listener can distinguish the different words and sounds. After the pause, the phrase is repeated at normal speed. Not only does this attune the ear as to what to expect in Greece, it also gives the listener something to aim for. As confidence and fluency increase, listeners can have fun trying to say the phrase the second time along with the native speaker and get a feel for the rhythm of the language which they might not be familiar with.
